I cannot think of anything better today than suggesting wunderkind pianist, Reed Tetzloff’s exciting recording of “Sounds Of Transcendence.” Reed Tetzloff embodies the dynamic of an intellectual with the soul of a poet. His playing is at once articulate and technically brilliant. Reed invites us in to his world that he creates with a cavalcade of color and tone. This CD is exciting to me with his choices of repertoire for a debut recording. The Griffes “sings” and Reed displays his huge technique in the work of Scriaban and Cesar Franck. My personal favorite is the Franck…a homage to Bach with the echo of Parsifal in Reed’s capable hands.
